Dr. Dennis R. Hunt

Dennis R. Hunt, D.D.S., is a board eligible Periodontist committed to research for the advancement of Periodontics. Dr. Hunt graduated from California State University, Hayward with a B.S., Biological Science and a minor in Chemistry. In 1997, Dr. Hunt graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles and UCLA graduate Periodontal Residency Certificate Program with a Masters Degree in Oral Biology. Dr. Hunt’s activity in research has produced five published papers in professional journals. His research interest is primarily centered on Alveolar Bone Reconstruction. Dr. Hunt is a part-time faculty member at UCLA Department of Oral Biology. He has lectured at UCLA and worldwide. Dr. Hunt has recently won Best Research Lecture award at the Academy of Osseointegration held in Toronto, Canada. Other work has included 1997’s World-Wide Web at UCLA Periodontics Center author of Antibiotic Use in Periodontics, working with Dr. M. Newman, and Dr. J. Kim. Dr. Hunt is a member of the following professional affiliations: California Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontics, and European Academy of Ossteointegration. Dr. Hunt's hobbies are tennis, golf, and world travel.

Dr. George K. Koutsoukos

George K. Koutsoukos, D.D.S., is a board eligible Prosthodontist committed to the advancements of Prosthodontics. Dr. Koutsoukos graduated from the University of Athens, School of Health Sciences, School of Dentistry, Athens, Greece, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery certificate in 1988. Dr. Koutsoukos graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston, Massachusetts with his Certificate in Prosthodontics 1994, completing his fellowship in Implant Dentistry in 1996, Masters of Science in Dentistry in 1998. Professional accomplishments include: Dental Faculty Practice, Chairperson; Assistant Professor, Department of Restorative Dentistry, Fixed and Removable Partial Denture Division, Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Koutsoukos awards include: Dean’s award, Excellence in Clinical Teaching, Dean’s Appreciation, and Honor Roll Postgraduate Prosthodontics. Dr. Koutsoukos is a member of the following professional affiliations: American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontics, Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Koutsoukos was born in Greece and is fluent in Greek. His special interests are travel, sports and spending time with his son.

Dr. Andrew Y. Lee

Andrew Y. Lee, D.D.S., M.D. began his studies at the University of California, Davis graduating with a B.S. degree in Physiology in 1987. In 1991 Dr. Lee attended Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery earning his D.D.S degree and continued on to earn his M.D. Degree in 1997 at New York Medical College. Dr. Lee’s residency training include: Resident in General Practice Dentistry, Beth Israel Medical Center 1991-1993, Lincoln Medical Center, New York Medical College 1993-1995, Nassau County Medical Center 1997, Chief Resident Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Long Island Jewish Medical Center 1998, Chief Resident, SUNY Stony Brook Medical Center 1999, Resident in General Surgery, Long Island Jewish Medical Center 1999-2000. Dr. Lee’s Academic Experience include: Assistant Clinical Instructor in OMFS at SUNY Stony Brook School of Dentistry 1998. Dr. Lee’s extensive research involved investigating the electrophysiologic properties of mammalian brown adipose tissue, University of California, Davis 1985-1997. Dr. Lee’s special interests include: skiing, music, travel and cycling.

Dr. Dminic T. Letrong

Dr. Dominic T. Letrong D.D.S., received a Bachelor Degree of Science as well as a Doctorate of Dental Medical (DMD) from the University of Montreal, School of Dental Medicine. He completed advanced training in a two-year program at the St. Mary's Institute for Equilibration, Oral Art & Design in Montreal, Canada and was awarded a certificate of Aesthetic Crown & Bridge Dentistry. He had special training at the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Key Biscayne, Florida, the Misch Implant Institute in Dearborn, Michigan, the Postgraduate School of Dentistry in Clearwater, Florida and the Dawson Center for the Advancement of Dentistry in St. Petersburg, Florida. His career reflects competence, reliability, hard work and confidence underscored by personal commitment and performance. An active member of The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry as well as an expert in the field of "Aesthetic, Implant, Restorative Dentistry and Full Mouth Reconstruction." His mission statement is to provide aesthetic results of the highest order and to create beautiful smiles that will last.

Dr. John Malakzad

Dr. John Malakzad D.D.S., is a Board Eligible Endodontist; he has been in practice for over 33 years. Dr. Malakzad attended the University of Southern California where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1972. Dr. Malakzad went on to earn his specialty certificate in Endodontics from the University of Southern California in 1976. Dr. Malakzad enjoys travel, fine foods and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Laurel Adrian

Dr. Adrian D.D.S., has been practicing dentistry for over 21 years. Dr. Adrian focus is on diagnosis and treatment planning for Dental Plus Dental Group. Dr. Adrian has a high level of commitment and a professional attitude. Dr. Adrian began her studies at Barnard College, Columbia University, earning a B.S. in Biology in 1981. She earned her D.M.D degree from 1981-1985 with the Morton Amsterdam Clinical Award, finalist from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Adrian is from a family of dentists and she enjoys tennis, hiking, playing piano and spending time with her son.

Dr. Mark Deukmedjian

Mark Deukmedjian, D.D.S., M.S. is a Board Eligible Orthodontist. Dr. Deukmedjian graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, San Francisco, California in 1996, completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. He practiced cosmetic dentistry for ten years before returning to the University of the Pacific to complete his Masters in Orthodontics in the area of facial attractiveness.

Dr. Deukmedjian’s honors and achievements include the American Academy of Prosthodontics Excellence Award, the Herbert K. Yee Scholarship Award, Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society, Tau Kappa Omega Honor Society, Excellence In Comprehensive Clinical Care Award and the Fredrick T. West Leadership Award. Professional affiliations include membership in the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontics Foundation and the American Association of Orthodontics.

Dr. Deukmedjian’s special interest include spending time with his family, exercising, scuba diving, traveling, wine tasting, cooking and fund raising for his favorite charities.

Dr. Michael E. Khalil

Michael E. Khalil, D.D.S., is a board eligible Endodontist. Dr. Khalil graduated from California State Polytechnic University with a B.S degree in 1992. He went on to graduate in 1996 from the University Of Southern California School Of Dentistry with a D.D.S. degree with his Specialty Certificate in Advanced Endodontics in 1998. Academic Appointments include: Resident Coordinator and Laboratory Instructor, University of Southern California, School of Dentistry 1997-1998, Sole Designated Endodontic Resident University of Southern California, School of Dentistry Department of Faculty Practice 1997-1999, American Association of Endontists National Achievement award 1998.
