Schrodi, D.M.D., MPH
Pedodontist & Orthodontist
Janet Young Schrodi D.M.D., MPH is a Board Eligible
Pediatric Dentist and Orthodontist. Dr. Schrodi began her studies at the
University of California, Los Angeles, California 1989-1994 with a B.A in
Psychology, cum laude. Dr. Schrodi went on to Harvard School of Public
Health, Boston, M.A where she completed her M.P.H coursework in 1998. In
2000, Dr. Schrodi was awarded her D.M.D from Harvard School of Dental
Medicine, Boston, MA. In 2003 Dr. Schrodi completed a combined program in
pediatric dentistry and orthodontics, from the University of California, Los
Angeles. Dr. Schrodi’s honors and awards include: 2002 UCLA School of
Dentistry, Student Seed Grant Funding for Research. 1998-1999 Harvard School
of Dental Medicine, AADA/Warner-Lambert Preventive Dentistry Scholarship,
Student Research Fellowship. Harvard Medical School Dean’s Report, featured
student. 1998 Harvard School of Public Health, Albert Schweitzer
Fellowship. Dr. Schrodi’s research experience includes: UCLA Department of
Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry authored an interactive CD-ROM
presenting multidisciplinary care for children with cleft lip and cleft
palate. Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Department of Periodontology,
examining the effect of aspirin on the periodontal clinical parameter
bleeding on probing. Dr. Schrodi has participated in volunteer work and
community service for the Dental Missions in Cochabamba, Bolivia, as an
Albert Schweitzer Boston Fellow and recipient. Christian Medical College,
South India, assisted health practitioners in mobile clinics traveling to
rural areas. Dr. Schrodi is proficient in oral Spanish and is developing
language skills in French.
